Fair play Tesco

Got a letter in the post from Tesco.
I had parked in their Haddington car park on 26.5.15 and overstayed. Yup i did. parked at 5am and left at approx 10 am.
Then on 27.6.15 I did the same.
Letter states if it happens again I will get a parking charge notice.
Cant say I didnt get fair waning.

Maybe reply to their letter saying you would have left sooner but the lack of toilet roll prevented you from leaving.

I suspect your details were got from the nice people at the DVLA, under reasonable cause.

You could also say; thanks for the threat, I will take it that I am also unwelcome to spend any more money in your failing business!!

Well there is an irony to that. On return I did a shop both times.
So a loss for them.
Im not out that way often,only when work takes me out there.
Plenty of other parking.

Ask them how Sir Terry Leahy is doing at B&M & why their sales are up whilst Tesco's sales are down.

s'pose while we're all trying our hardest to help people from the darker side of the parking industry, we should be looking at "fairer" systems to.

I'm not sure it's a great example as he's got PE in there persecuting and suing customers. We've had quite a few B&M cases to deal with over the past couple of years.

The irony is that in one case B&M were instructed by the landowner to tell PE to cancel a charge (B&M were not the landowner) as they had no right to employ a PPC.

Oh, did I forget to say that the landowner was no other than ............................. TESCO. :rotfl:
