Amazon Prime 'One day' delivery

Ordered a new tablet yesterday (Thur 9th) using my Prime (one day) account. Got an email from Amazon stating 'Estimated dispatch day Sunday 12 July, estimated delivery date Mon13 July. So does this mean that 'one day' actually means that 'you will get it one day but not necessarily next day'!

It should have said that before you placed the order (i.e. it wasn't in stock)

Amazon did actually state 'only two left'. I'm not in a hurry for the item so Monday delivery is not a problem. This post was meant as a bit of light hearted banter about the meaning of 'one day' delivery.

Perhaps that should be their new slogan:

Order with Amazon one day delivery and you will get it one day.

Depends what warehouse its coming from, as long as you are logged in they are normally pretty upfront about when it will be delivered. Would you prefer you couldn't order it at all because they couldn't deliver it the next day?
