IAS appeals

Morning.
Im curious how the IAS reply if you send an arsey belligerent appeal noting their dodgy 'findings' and reasons why their decisions are irrelevant.
I want to appeal as well in order to show a court in a possible future claim why the IPC appeals system is rotten. Im asking because Ive got some appeals to do for Armtrac who recently migrated. These are not my tickets but people Im assisting.
I'd like to cost them the appeal fee but really cant be bothered to work out appeals on legal points that are doomed to failure anyways.
Do they bother to reply? Do they attempt to address the contents of the appeal?
Whats the forums experience of these kind of challenges to the IAS.
Thanks in advance

If you send an arsey appeal and if it gets to court, do you think the arsey appeal will

    (a) help you win in court
    (b) go against you.

If (a), then the answer to your question is "Give it a go". If (b), then I would get permission from the people you are seeking to assist and point out the potential downside.

In all cases, I would recommend the appellant taking a professionsl, reasoned approach and trying to hold the moral high ground.

You tend to find that the IAS appeal - handled "independently" from the IPC - finds it way to the IPC.

Gladstone's (IPC) then use the IAS appeal (Gladstone's) to issue court claims via the PPC's solicitors (Gladstones) in which there are details that only IAS (Gladstone's) should know.

Actually and regrettably you are incorrect. It is the PPC via Gladstone that issues court papers, not their trade body IPC and the information you submit on your IAS appeal is sent to the PPC for their comments pre the IAS appeal. So the PPC will have a copy of the appeal - arsey or otherwise.

The IAS web site FAQs states "Will further enquiries be made? Only by the operator who will provide their own evidence in reply to your appeal. "

Actually arsey was the wrong word in my original post. I don't know why I used it. This what I meant above. Just calling them out. Not being rude, just laying the facts but stating that I'm not accepting their decision should it go against me/us.

Arsey or polite, the decision will still be unsigned, the IAS will still be be closely linked to Gladstones, they will still require you to prove everything, and they will still have a mountain of perverse decisions to explain.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
