Ryanair slow refund?

Hi
I had some flights booked to Faro with Ryanair. However they made significant changes to the times of departure and as such agreed to refund fully to the tune of around £900. The only problem being that the CC I used to book this was closed and no longer in use. They have a process to refund via cheques which they said takes 4 weeks. Yeah, you guessed it, 9 weeks in and they still owe me £900. Is there a process to take this to the next level. I've contacted them each week regards this, each time being told it will take 4 weeks.I wonder if anyone could advise me on some next steps?

My son had a similar issue with flights to Lanzarote,he called Ryanair and told them he would have to book alternative flights with Jet2 and needed the money ASAP
The money was paid within seven days0 -
Maybe I wasn't clear, I don't have the credit card or an account with that bank anymore. I thought it would be more grief getting money transferred from someone I have no financial arrangement with any longer than just taking a cheque. I've had another reply today from Ryanair saying it will be "three weeks , possibly longer". It's been since May already!0
