Seriously do get a henry to do the first couple of vaccums, add a soft tool attacment and you can vaccum most surfaces, tops of books etc. Within a week you can go back to your own vaacumm The HEPA filter will clog completely if you dont get the worse up first ( voice of experience here)
I'll definitely look into this then. Where might I buy a soft tool attachment without having to order online?
I am already armed with a load of cloths and dettol wipes too but I shall get some cheap fragrance free ones as well.
Thank you all for your posts and advice. I'm definitely feeling a little better about tackling this. It just feels so monumental when it's a whole house to do!0 -

If there's surfaces you absolutely can't get wet, but still want to dust, buy Tack Cloths from a decorating place - they're weirdly waxy/sticky cloths, used to picking up dust after sanding, before painting. Wonderful things.Mortgage - £[STRIKE]68,000 may 2014[/STRIKE] 45,680.0
