Different moss side me thinks. Marleyboy is referring to Manchester0 -
Is that the reason? I didn't think there were enough people in moss side, ballymoney to have a riot. Not one I remember anyway.
Moss side, Manchester - wasn't that England's most murderous borough in the 1990s? Kids having fun, ah, who could object?“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

Also, if cycling near the sites of any bonfires in the coming weeks, watch out for all sorts of sharp debris like broken glass, sharp edges of cans and nails, left around the general area. There is one in the Milltown area next to the A55 that usually ends up actually damaging the footpath and main road due to heat with loads of nasty sharp objects on the footpath (which is also designated for bicycles) and probably also the side of the road.0 -
If the bonfire was on the road for several weeks prior to ignition , it mustn't have been too busy a road. Why resurface it?“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

The riot of the 80s was more a case of something I personally got caught in, so its not so unremembered in my case. Yet aside from one or two cases in my past, I do live in a pretty placid land.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

The one they had in Flush Park Rosetta(no longer:T), the council delivered sand to put under the wood before building. The men building put it down and they started building. On the 13th the men came out and cleared the debris away and a few days later they re tarmac.0

If this is th one i am thinking it is - the bonfire is on the roundabout so you can round it, but it is quite a busy road.
I must say I lived in Belfast for 10 years and have now moved out, and had to go somewhere yesterday and it was wonderful to not have to try and figure out the best way to go to not run into trouble, or get stuck in traffic etc.
Where is live now the 12th is just another day nearly, unless you want to go to the parades etc - the local lodge march in the morning and evening but it is probably about 5 -10 minutes, so it doesn't affect my life at all now, like it did in the past, where i had to get special permission to change my hours in work to be able to get to work and back.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
