How much for 5m x 3.5m decking?

Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to have raised decking (60cm raised) 5m x 3.5m with about 6m of spindle railing including fitting? Thanks.

We did one this size without spindles a few months ago, raised by 60 cm (more in plaves due to uneven sub strata and it was around £1100. With spindles eyc add another £300 - £400.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
  • Thank you, that's really helpful.

Is that just for materials or did it include installation?

Morning - I did a DIY raised decking a while ago, 5m x 4m I'd go about £600 on materials (Wickes had a special on) and lots of effort, but extremely rewarding when you sit out on it in the sun!
  • Thanks hardy1976. Ha I think we will also need installation as if we did it our selves it will be snowing by the time we can get on it!

    That included installation.

A couple of years ago I built my ow. It's 4x3m and cost me around £360 in materials. All sourced from a local timber merchant.

Keep away from those bandits at b&q or wickes!

as above- get timber from local timber yard not wickes/b&q and you can slash your costs by 2x or even more if you know a good place.

  • Thanks everyone that's good to know but would definitely be a price with installation I need. From what I have read £1200-£1500 seems pretty reasonable I think does it?
