win 10 problem

Options
I keep all my favourites for IE , in a folder on my nas drive , and just copy the contents to users/XX/favourite's, then delete the ones I dont need .

win 10 preview:

started using a Microsoft loggin (needed for preview updates) , however I change back to a local password with no loggin req afterwards.

every time I change to the m/soft account and back again , it brings back the 50 or so deleted favourite's ,

delete again , update warning "inside build needs account attention" so log in to Microsoft to check , then back to local account and the !!!!!!s are back.

is there , where is there a setting that will allow me to delete this , do my deletes then come back to normal

It doesn't your question on Favourites, but why don't you set up two accounts - MS account to keep the Insider status happy, and local account for actually doing stuff?

Edit:Or you could try going into the Settings app, then select Accounts, then Sync Your Settings, and switch off the one about Web Browser Settings

I have a MS account and a local one , MS is needed for inside prevue updates , but you must log onto your machine if you reboot etc , local account (gmail) can be set for auto log on , its when I change to MS it re imports all my old stuff

like an android phone when you reload (new phone etc) and sign in , it brings back all your old contacts

    if that makes sence?

So does having 2 accounts mean you can't auto-login on a local one then? Did you see the Edit I did above mentioning the Settings thing - does that help?
