Hi. I have an Acer Laptop running Windows 8.1. For a while now things have got me so frustrated by the machine running so slow.

Each time I click on a web site from the address bar I am prompted with this message.

This page can’t be displayed
  • Make sure that the web address is correct.
  • Look for the page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in a few minutes.
  • Check that all network cables are plugged in.
  • Verify that flight mode is turned off.
  • Make sure that your wireless switch is turned on.
  • See if you can connect to mobile broadband.
  • Restart your router.

Fix connection problems
I then have to go through the motion of having to carry out this frustrating method to get to the web site.
I have downloaded C cleaner but nothing seems to work ok.
I have Google Chrome but I find it a bit strange because I doesn't appear to save web sites visited nor is there a google tool bar to type in what you want to search for. Can anyone pass a little advice to me.
