No Win No Fee - Questions

Hi, I'm not too sure if this is in the correct section. If not, aplogies mods.
I just needed some input on "no win no fee solicitors" if possible?
I've been unlucky enough to be involved in 2 RTAs within the past 6 months (both non faults).
As a result of the most recent one - which occured last week - my insurance company has instructed HCC Solicitors to act on my behalf.
However, on receiving the documents from them, I'm a bit unsure about some of theit ts and cs.
They said that they can take upto 25% of my compensation tocover their fees. Is this the norm these days?
They would like to take out an ATE insurance policy on my behalf for £159 (After The Event Insurance).
Lastly, they have asked if I have legal expense cover on any other existing insurance policy which would cover me for this accident?
Does this all sound above board?
Winn Socilicitors are still dealing with my previous claim, and none of the above was mentioned in their tcs and cs, and furthermore they have been great so far.
So I just thought I would double check before I sign my life away.
Thanks in advance for any info in regards to this.
