Halifax Reward Current Account £100 Eligibility

Hi all,
looking to hear form folks who have made the switch to this account. The click-thru has a message stating:
If you've had cashback for switching since January 2012, we're sorry but you don't qualify.
My question is does this only apply to people who have already done a Halifax switch since Jan 2012 or any bank switch that has earned them a sign up fee? I opened a First Direct since that date and received a £100 so I'm worried I'm not eligible for this deal.
Thanks!

If you haven't received cashback for getting a new Halifax account, you can get the £100.0

Great info, thanks.
I assumed they mean generally, to discourage people who often switch from applying. But if it's only for previous signups to Halifax then I should be good to go!0 -

Halifax want you to switch to them. They dont care if you've switched from HSBC to FD, but they do care if you've switched from Bank-A to Halifax before using their incentive and trying to cash in on the same incentive."Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance."0
