iphone 5 "Out of space"

Hope someone can enlighten me as to what I must do to move all my photos to icloud and then delete them from my iphone. I have plenty of space on icloud but its getting them there that's the problem. I can't update iphone until I get space! Would really appreciate help.

I don't own an iDevice so this may not be helpful, but can you clear down your browser cache/temp files to get a bit more space temporarily?

That, or remove some large programmes temporarily and re-download them afterwards?

Not sure of how to delete them totaly as Im mainly and andois user, however my work phone is an iPhone and i use the feature in the link below, works well enough for me.

I guess you are trying to do the update over WiFi, it needs lots of space on the Iphone for temporary files to do that.

If you connect it to your PC you will be able to do the update through Itunes without needing to create free space.
