4 bendy carrots spotted lurking at back of fridge now turned into carrot mayonnaise. I just cant abide food waste.

Evening all
Didn't get to post earlier for some reason - probably because I didn't do the jobs I was supposed to last night, and had them all to do today
Sorry to hear about the farming subsidy changes (I am guessing that this is what you are referring to Maria? Is it something linked to this week's budget or something that the Welsh Government are entirely responsible for?) The way food producers are treated in this country is a joke  Heaven help us if we suddenly couldn't import all of the food that is needed
Today's list:
Checked banks
Washing done and dried on line outside
Hoovered and dusted on first floor
Loaf made in bread maker
Chickens laid 2 eggs, which I had to fight savage broody hen for :rotfl:
HM meals from stores (not a NSD though as I bought some fruit and some moisturising cream. If anyone has a shop called 'Savers', they are really cheap for brands such as L'Oreal, Garnier and Olay. It is a chain as I have seen them in other local towns, but not sure if it is a national chain or one limited to the SW. Anyway, my posh day cream was £4.99 and was one or other of these brands which cost loads more anywhere else)
Went to sales unit to tidy up - no restocking needed unfortunately as nothing has soldThe shop was empty too, and the town was pretty dead overall - nobody much in any of the shops. Not sure what is going on. Still, I walked, so at least got free exercise, and no fuel used.
Banked a business cheque for OH while I was out
Picked a small bowl of strawberries - they are nearly over now, but we have had a lot, given that we only grow them in hanging baskets and a few pots.
Also picked a small bunch of sweet peas. They smell gorgeous
Watered everything that needed it - gave it all a really good soak
Decluttering - 2 books, 2 tops and half a carrier bag of outgrown baby toys to the CS
No food waste :A
Done a couple of surveys
I think that is everything - doesn't seem a lot written down0 -
Hi guys
Another manic one for me today .. Thursday's used to be my day off work but now we've opened the boot sale on a Thursday too so nice early start for me !!
I did however have loads left from the burger van so fry up for tea tonight and I have enough for tomorrow's too .. Yay !!
I've also managed to have another NSD today (although my dad did get me some M&S school trousers that he spotted while he visited the boot sale today .. So that's 6 pairs all M&S new with tags and the most paid was £2/pair from the booty
I've also dried the washing on the line and managed to scrub the BBQ enough ready for dinner on Saturday night (I was worried I would need to get a new one)
Well I have a holiday in for tomorrow and am planning a nice lazy day (usually plan it but it never turns out that way !!
