Any reason MSE wont work on IE today?

Just tried to view MSE pages on IE. I can't, it wont load and I get a connection error page when I try.
For some reason everything is working fine on Chrome. Is this just me or are others getting the same issue?

    Perhaps because IE is a rubbish browser which MS have had the good sense to quietly take it the vets for the big sleep and replace it with Edge.
    Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.

    IE has a very short connection timeout, so if your connection is slow or the website/server is very busy, IE can timeout before the page has time to load in.

    There's a setting linked to this problem, but I CBA to find it, as IE is a pile of poo and I never used it.

    Try clearing your browser's cache jennie. In IE ... Tools > General tab > Browsing History > Delete button.
