Lost my dell Windows Recovery CD

Hey all,

I wanna reformat my drive but i moved house recently and i seem to have misplaced my Dell 'Reinstalling Windows XP' disc. I can't find it anywhere, i've been on the dell site and forums and found a form to order new backup disc (free may i add) but its for the USA and nothing on the Uk site.

Anyone got any ideas on what i should do?

Call them and ask for one, or you may have a recovery partition on the hard disk
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

I;m going to try and just call them. I don't have a partition on the hard disk unfortunately, the last time i wiped the drive when i deleted it as i wanted a clean install.

You can download the Dell XP installation CD through Bittorrent for free, you shouldn't need a serial number to install (I didn't when I had the same problem as you).

I have a Dell CD and can copy/post to you if needed.
