I would say definitely hire a car, driving is easy - I was really apprehensive about driving but it was fine. Kennedy Space Centre is a good day out (about 45-55mins) or head west to Clearwater/St Pete beach.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0

I would definatley suggest hiring a car, it's just so much easier to get around.
I'm not a big shopping fan, it's OK if you know what you're looking for but I'm not into just wandering around and I don't like the huge shopping malls but I do really like the Premium Outlets. (Although it says there are 110 shops it doesn't feel that big.) There's one on Vineland Road toward the south end of international drive and I'm pretty sure the I trolly and/or the Lynx bus stop there. Sign up online for their VIP club and before you go print off the online coupons. There's usually one to pick up a discount card at guest services which is in the middle of the food court plus there are usually other special offers too. On our last trip I had one for 20% off Timberland - which was over and above the already discouted prices. My OH walked out the shop with a bag load of stuff feeling like he had ripped them off. The sales guy commented "you're a smart shopper we only get one or two of these coupons a week".
