Soffit, Fascia, Gutter replacement advice

Ok. We are mid terraced but only actually attached to the gutters of the house in one side because the next house in the terrace is set back a foot or so.
The gutter on the neighbouring property is black semi circle guttering, what I would say is standard. Their guttering is newer than our old asbestos and there is some mangling at some point to attach it. Their gutters seem to be in a reasonable state of repair although they could do with being cleaned out.0 -
I've checked the quote and it says good quality black guttering and downpipe. It also says it is Co extruded with a white liner for heat expansion.
It doesn't say shape, brand or material. Just that it is black. My assumption was that it was half circle and plastic
I'm now getting concerned that I wanted the leaky old gutter fixed but I'm being told I'll need a new roof.0 -
We had a survey done and they mentioned no problems with the roof and said there was no condensation in the roof space.0
