Sell it and buy a used car.0

Bicarbonate of soda is better than charcoal for removing odours. The charcoal needs to be in powder form.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

You can also sprinkle oregano around, but it has to be all over, on the seats and everything, and you can't put it into a container or that stops it from working. The more you sprinkle the better.0

Is it still a problem in the dark, for that matter? If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

Keep driving the car with the windows open, the problem will go away.
I fear that now you have this in your head as an issue, it will make it worse.0 -
You have my sympathy - I'm rather susceptible to odours too.
You'll struggle to return the car - there is nothing wrong with it.
The best you can hope for is the dealer agreeing to buy it back as a pre-reg. I guess you're looking at a 15% or so loss.
I'd put some great big (mains powered) fans in it when parked, and all the windows open so that the smells dissipate more rapidly. And only drive it with the windows open.0 -
what about trying to negotiate with the dealer a full interior valet?

some of the idiot answers here are far from helpful.
Good luck let us know how you get on.
Some of us have similar issues with those stupid plug in air fresheners.0 -
I'm astonished people are saying that you should continue to drive the car if you feel dizzy whilst driving? In what universe is that a good idea?!
Can you perhaps ask a friend/family member to use the car for a few weeks with windows down, air con/blowers on full? Spray the interior with anti odor spray too. Then see if you have the same issue or if it's getting better?0 -
Did you fall asleep watching an episode of Quincy?0

So summarising, the O/P has a medical condition that is preventing her from driving the car currently, so she has an expectation that she should be able to return the car for a refund.
My wife has arthritis, so i guess then if she buys a new car she should be able to return it for a full refund if her joints become painfull when driving it?0
