try and do the appeal online, its quicker and cheaper, do it on their website
BUT
if you are printing and posting an appeal, take the letter to the P.O., ask for a free certificate of posting, dont just stick it in a letterbox !!! (with no proof)
but do it online asap, today if possible, on the Highview website
they will probably reject this appeal, dont worry, we expect it, but you never know, so do it anyway
come back and tell us either way, then we can give further advice if necessary
do not admit who was driving, edit your first post please, now , thanks0 -
Thanks I will do it online, feel so much more relieved now and my first post has been edited. Thank heaven for you guys x0

Your new post #1 is fine
No probs - almost all of us have been there - hence why we're here now
Just stick with it - it will all be come clearer after a few reads of the info which once you've got your 1st appeal in you can do in less of a panic.
Brains don't work well when panicking - well mine doesn't anyway :rotfl:0 -
Redx ... would you be able to edit one of your replies please as it has copied and pasted a part of my original post that has been deleted. Thank youuuuu x0

Tracal,
Once you have appealed to the PPC (I would follow up the on-line appeal with a posted one with proof of posting) you will probably get an 'Appeal Denied' letter from the PPC.
Don't let that worry you - it's what they do. However they also have to supply you with a unique reference number - you will later on use that, under the guidance of the experts here, to submit a second appeal to POPLA. POPLA will almost certainly order the PPC to cancel the charge.
You are in good hands here, the experts have an excellent record in forcing the PPC bullies to 'jog on'.:j0 -
Phew!!! .... Yes Parking Karma indeed lol and advice all well and truly taken on board, thank you everyone x0
