I've never had a problem with RM.
Always get proof of postage. Always use the correct insurance amount. Always make the buyer pay for your (in actual fact, their) costs.

As a former eBay seller, it's more the amount of lost/misplaced or generally delayed badly items.
Yes in most cases you get your money back after submitting a claim but it opens you up to negative feedback from the buyer.0
