British Gas - Online Billing - Saves Paper?
I have had numerous problems and have not managed to save any paper. They never email me when I bill and then send me a red reminder after. I have complained and apologised but I just want the bill when it is due. Sometimes when I went on the old website it did not say I even had a balance to pay!
So when they launched britishgas.co.uk instead I though things could get better...
There new site is worse. You have to register for gas and electricity seperately with two different email addresses.
So far it has not been smooth. My gas account was converted to the website login format and it is showing both mine and my dad's gas account.
I could not register my electricity one so I rang them and they hung up. Then the next person could not deal with it so said I would be emailed and I never was. I went back on to register and have got further now. I have verified my email address but everytime I log in it says I need to verify my email address.
I think I may have to move supplier but I am worried they will mess that up. I am glad so far, touch wood, the bills have been right.
Has anyone else had problems with their online billing?

This forum is dominated by the problems everyone has with the old and new BG on-line billing system.
It has been a total disaster to date and should never have been allowed to 'go live'.
Rather than start another thread, may I suggest that you add your 2 cents to the criticism in other threads.0
