I did a big order with yankee candle last week. I saw the transaction in my bank as a pending one with the yankee name. My account amount was lower by that amount, I got the order on sat so the money should be out my account.

I go to log into my bank account and low and behold my money has jumped right back up by that amount. Isn't in pending transactions nor the amount and name listed.

Has anyone had this before. Did they eventually appear on account. I ordered for my mam who gave me the amount she ordered in and because it isn't taken out of my account I will give it back to her. I don't want to have to crawl back to say can I have the money back as they have taken it out my account now.

I got all the items too.

Don't give her it back - sit and wait - it might still come out. They can ask you for the money for up to 6 years I *Think*. someone more in the know will pop on soon and correct me if I am wrong :)

They will most likely take the money again, they get up to six months to automatically take the money without warning and up to six years to chase you for payment.

They probably just had a system glitch and they'll want the money as soon as they notice it didn't go through

Keep the money in the account, as said above they have 6 months to take the money without warning, after that they need your permission to take it again. But you are still owe them the money.
