Glasgow Int - San Francisco

I have been lurking in the background for some time & found a lot of your posts very informative, thanks.
I now find myself in a position where I feel I could also do with your help. I am due to travel to San Francisco at the end of next month (20/06 - 30/06).
Can anyone suggest any sites, companies, anything at all to save me some cash on this flights etc? The dates I have quoted are not set in stone, I can be flexible. Everything is being arranged very last minute as it was an unexpected announcement.
Thanks once again.

Probably worth trying the usual expedia, travelocity and ebookers etc.
Looks like there are ways of getting there 'direct' from Glasgow with a stop in the US or Canada, but if your dates and times are flexible you might get a better price if you get a cheap return to Heathrow and then a connecting flight there.
One advantage of going straight across the atlantic to east coast USA from Scotland would be that you'd get two 6-7 hour flights rather than a 1 hour and an 11 hour journey.
