How do I get 5.1 sound on 360 using VGA cable?

Hey guys..
I've recently bought a Samsung SM206BW PC monitor, I'm connecting my PC to monitor via DVI, and using the VGA for 360.
The VGA cable I've bought (the official 360 one) has a red white audio lead, and my speaker set for computer is a Creative T6060 5.1 set..
I wanted to use the VGA cable and get sound from all of the speakers (5 + 1) when using the 360 and needed some help doing this..
What extra cable/adapter would I have to purchase to get this to work.. and where would I connect it?
Thankyou!

5.1 is only outputted from the 360 via the optical socket on the back of the plug for the AV that goes into the back of the 360. Unless the speaker set has a TOSlink input, it's not going to happen.0

You need to connect an optical cable from the optical port on the back of the 360 end of the cable to your 5.1 decoder.

Just a standard optical connector, its the only option I'm afraid, so if your decoder/amp doesn't do optical then its a no go and you will need to stick to stereo from the RCA connectors.
apologies for the out of focus shot my other camera is downstairs.0
