Can't cancel my Lovefilm account...

My fault really...I can't remember my email/password info!!
Do you think I can just cancel my direct debit and that would stop the DVDs coming and them charging me?

No you can't just stop your direct debit. If you do you will end up being threatened with debt collectors.
Either email or phone them to get your password OR send them a letter by recorded delivery stating you want your account cancelled.
Lovefilm will only cancel with a month's notice so you may end up paying another month. In addition you need to ensure they have any dvds sent back to them otherwise they will charge you.So I suggest you send your final DVDs back to them by recorded delivery.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Have a look through your email account/s and see if theres an email from lovefilm stating your username etc and login and cancel your account, i cancelled mine via emailNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

Yes you can and they will stop charging you and sending you DVD's but youll find that instead of sending DVD's they will send out Debt collectors0 -
Just phone them up. The worse thing they will do is do something really horrible like offer you 3 months for the price of 1. Miserable people !Nice to save.0

Then phone them up, or write and send it recorded delivery. But phoning will be quicker and stop you paying out more money !Nice to save.0 -
