Private PCN ticket - Permit fell out of view

Hi all,
I am new to this forum but would greatly appreciate some of your savvy parking advice.
I recently received a PCN ticket after my parking permit fell out of full view.
I get the impression that appealing on the basis that I own a permit will not be successful given the sign states 'RETROSPECTIVE EVIDENCE OF AUTHORITY TO PARK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED'.
So I am wondering if anyone can suggest another angle to go from, possibly the charges being disproportionate (no loss would have been incurred since I am the owner of the permit), or whether to go down the deniability route (no proof that I was in fact the driver).
A few initial facts:
- The carpark is a privately owned
- The company is Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd.
- IPC operator
- The enforcement officer has pictured the corner of the permit (though made no decent attempt to get an angle where some details can be seen).
Pictures:
Note: I have had to add spaces before and after the // in the links because I can't post links as a news user - sorry about that!

Hope this is enough information. Again, any insights would be hugely appreciated by myself!
Thanks

Start by reading the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of the main page. This is your one stop shop for everything you need to know about appealing this speculative invoice. Use the template in the aforementioned NEWBIES thread exactly as it is.
Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving.

My company web filter won't let me open the pics so I can't tell if they are OK. I'm assuming you have redacted any information that could identify you.
Just be aware that your appeal will probably be rejected so you then go in to ignore mode as this is an IPC mob. This is all explained in the NEWBIES thread.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0
