    My dad has been a plumber for approx. 40 years. I asked him if he had ever charged for giving a quote- he said no!


    He said sometimes he would go to a house- see that the fault could be fixed in 2 minutes, he would do it for free as it was worth it for the good will/word of mouth.


    That's why he is always busy! Personal recommendation is worth a lot. Think this chap is chancing his arm......
