0800 Number Provider With Call Counting Facility

Just a quick query for you. Do you know of any companies that offer 0800 numbers in sets so that I can assign particular numbers to particular means of advertising? For instance, if I wanted to run ads in a local paper could I have an 0800 number specifically for this purpose and then monitor the number of calls I have had? Therefore one could compare the success of telephone vs internet vs radio for example.

I remember reading about this service but if anyone has any further information on providers that would be great.

Hello, is it an 0800 you are certain you are after? Most companies will charge you a set up fee for an 0800 number and also an annual fee.

http://www.planet-numbers.co.uk/ was brought to my attention a few months ago, however I opted for 0845 numbers for when I needed to use one. I use http://www.adcallswitchboard.co.uk/ for my 0845 numbers, no setup cost, available to anyone, and it is free. Offers missed call alerts, and a very easy to use switchboard control panel. You can also get 0844 numbers from them.
