Hi everyone. Just popped on quickly yo say thanks to the OP that posted the argos washer drier from Argos that was really cheap. I ordered as mine is over 10 years old and a bit battered. Anyway, it was a pricing error and the order was cancelled. Just managed to negotiate a £50 voucher as compensation. So big thanks from me.

    Out Of Date Products

If you find an out of date product you’re entitled to £10 store credit per product if you have bought the item/s. Asda can actually be fined by trading standards for selling out of date food so they are much more likely to keep you quiet with a gift card!

    Thanks, interesting to know. :)

I did ring and tell them.
They are refunding me with an evoucher which I'm more than happy with. As long as my apg results are good when they come through. :rotfl:

Good luck getting the gift card.
I tried getting the £10 for an out of date food item. Was told you get the difference if it a brand item and double the difference if an Asda item. Was laughed at when I mentioned the £10. Even had a sarky comment when I was leaving the shop and I am deaf in one ear and hearing not 100% in other ear and I heard it being said.

Rand head office and was told the same. If this happens again I would just tell them I will contact trading standards then see what happens.
