We have indeed...do you think if I take her a bunch of nice flowers and you bring a bottle of the fizzy stuff... she might let us of the hay making and the potato picking??

I think I need to take a couple of bottles of the fizzy stuff and get a couple more people to join our queue. They can do the country stuff and we can sip the wine and watch. ;)

So that explains the attraction of Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and the other citi unis for London students - much cheaper accomadation, less travelling between uni and halls or their shared houses, excellent night life still - and direct train services when you need to visit your parents :)

Yes all true, plus they still get the big city life. I also think that they enjoy the multi-cultural nature of big cities. Maybe wrong but I think a lot of foreign students are attracted to the big cities also helped by the red brick russell group universities having links with universities overseas.

Eldest son put his pocket diary in the wash so he has been looking for a replacement 2015 diary - refusing completely to believe that he can't get one in WHSmiths etc in July ;)

So I looked on the works website and found Moleskine daily diary/planner agenda journal ire A6 pocket size for £3 :j - these are red but he liked the look of it so I ordered it for him.
I also ordered a few other bits and I had it delivered to store and finally the order arrived today.
On the website it gives the size which is good but not the thickness and its a lot thicker than I thought it would be - I think it might be too thick to fit into his shirt pocket.
So I've now ordered the even smaller a7 size, same price, hopefully to arrive by Monday - returns to store. Then we can judge the 2 side by side.

There is also a discount code you can put into the box on the site, it comes as a pop up - don't forget Topcashback.

I got one for myself, a lovely deep green one for £4 - there are also black and purple ones on the website, different prices. Very gorgeous and tactile and they gave a band that goes around.

Yes I know half the year is gone but even so ...
These might also be good if you are buying an academic diary - at least it keeps you going until the end of December

    Walkersgate update. :rotfl:

My code checking is over they apparently have run out of promotional codes to give out.

But are sending me some vouchers to spend (didn't ask how much :o) but reckon I will have to buy crisps with them.

Might be for the best seeing as Anon has been getting all the winning ones.

    Boo!

Sorry tbw difficult to understand if you didn't know I managed to buy quite few promotional packs that all had the codes missing.

I had to email them a screenshot to show no codes on the packs and thought they would just send me some codes to use but they have said none left to give out as in no new codes.

As long as you have codes on your packs you are fine all still good. Business as usual. ;)

    Hooray :).

I haven't had chance to buy any more today ... but still have around 20 packs to check from last night.

Picked up an order for the baxters pot meals, got home and most of them have a bbe date of 05/2015.
So if your're buying any, check the dates on them.

    Out Of Date Products

If you find an out of date product you’re entitled to £10 store credit per product if you have bought the item/s. Asda can actually be fined by trading standards for selling out of date food so they are much more likely to keep you quiet with a gift card!
