I used to go with my sister, we went on the coach got it 12.30 am sat morn, down to dover stopping at toddy on the way, try and sleep , get crossing, warehouse in Calais , down to Aidenkirk (sp) , down to Ostend leave there at 3.30 , back home by 8.30-9 fully laden:T:T
Got pulled at customs a few times:eek::eek: tunnel was worse they kept the coach 4 1/2 hrs:eek::eek::eek:

We watched the Bakeoff tonight and DD and I decided to make a new cake each week and eat it watching the it. Tonight it was an almond and raspberry cake with marscapone:D

Thanks bubbs did not expect to feel worse this morning.

But no peace for the wicked just got myself worked up didn't realise I didn't have mains cable plugged in properly have had lights, , mifi, water heater and fridge running on battery went to put TV on and nothing and noticed fridge not working either. Thought had blown everything. :eek:

Turned everything off in reverse and realised i had not pushed connection onto caravan hard enough.

I was looking forward to lazing on the reclining camping chair tomorrow but these antibiotics say avoid direct sunlight. But at least nothing else to do over here place is tip at home now DD2 has started to unpack and finding it hard not to keep going as she is hopeless! It will have to wait, I was frazzled it was lovely walking into tidy van this evening. No Teeny toys and paraphernalia etc from last week.
