I wrote about my daughters hen do on here a couple if weeks ago as she was unhappy about what her friends had arranged. Anyway in the end her friends persuaded her to go with it but it cost her £120.00 and I am afraid I text the main girl and told her what I thought i.e. that it was not what she wanted and why were they at least not paying some of her share. Her friend took the trouble to copy the message to my daughter and sent me a stroppy answer. Anyway DD was initially annoyed with me.
Anyway it was on Sat and dd actually quite enjoyed it ( although one of the girls took the trouble to tell DD at end of the night that nobody really liked her anyway) The main friend sent me a facebook message in the night with a thumbs up ( to presumably signify DD was ok- she takes meds and is not really supposed to drink at all ).
So I send a quick message to say thanks for letting me know and dd asked me to text her and another of the girls to thank them and to say she had a good time
Well I did not get a response ( didnt really expect one ) but both girls have blocked me on FB and DD and I had a row about it yesterday on way to wedding dress fitting as she says I am too overprotective ( which I know I am ) and I should have kept quiet.
I am actually quite mad that these girls are coming to the wedding as they obviously dont think that much of her and we left off 3 of her cousins ( only coming to reception ) from the service list. I know it is her wedding but I am actually picking up a lot of the bill so do I have a right to tell my daughter to tell them to stay away. Also one of them apparently posted a picture from the hen night on her FB today and cut DD out of the picture.0 -
Rose, as much as I would like to say tell your daughter to tell them to stay away, at the end of the day it is your daughter's wedding, just make sure she sees the picture they posted etc and let her make the decision xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

She has seen the pic but is trying to keep her stress levels down so I think will ignore it. And yes I need to remember its her wedding. 4th fitting for the dress yesterday and it did bring a tear to my eye. She looked stunning.0 -

What really counts is that they enjoy the day, and I am sure they will, just make sure you do too, which means trying to put all this behind youWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Outrageous! I would seriously consider changing dentists if they can't fit an emergency appointment for someone in pain.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Walkers arrived today - 4 vouchers, all addressed to me but I was only outstanding 2 ! They seem confused. Dates are odd too - expire days before the ones that came on Saturday.
Perhaps they will send me another lot tomorrow !ELITE 5:2

Although she is stressed ( even losing some of her hair) she is getting excited and cant wait to be married and go off to Thailand on their honeymoon. I need to learn to bite my tongue. I have deleted her friends no from my phone and blocked the others on FB. Thanks0 -
