Mmmm, interesting.
Have been on Ebay bidding for some racking. Had a second chance offer through, bought a voucher with some Nectar points to go towards it, went to pay, offer had "expired". Turned out it had been sent in error and cancelled. No email to say as much. After much toing and froing it became evident that I would not get it for that price.
So, went to Homebase and bought their plastic shelving.
After contacting Ebay, Nectar, Ebay, Nectar etc I finally had an email through saying they had credited my account with 3000 points (think they got fed up with me. They said nothing about cancelling the voucher so I thought I would leave it a few days and check. It would appear that the voucher is still on my Ebay account
On top of that, one of the sets of shelves was damaged (nothing bad and easily repairable), and it would seem that they are now selling very much cheaper construction ones instead of the ones they are supposed to be, was not entirely impressed with the way they look so contacted Homebase on both accounts, and have had a £25 voucher through by way of apologyWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Please can anyone point me in the right direction for any good pet insurance deals - cashbacks and gift cards etc
I did a load of quotes for Sophies insurance but then when I looked at her adoption pack I realised she is 5 now, not 4so all of my quotes were wrong and I have to start again.
and needless to say there was a good offer from one of the providers on TCB when I was looking at the house insurance about 6 weeks ago but of course that offer is no longer valid
I am with Mr T at the moment - against my better judgement but they sent me a gift card - I think it was a £30 or £40 one ??? and it was just under £6 a month.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. It sounds oh so familiar - start out with a simple job - buy shelving - but it ends up being a full time job taking up every ounce of energy you have - very mhoc :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Has your local hospital got an emergency dental department? Or has your doctor got an emergency appointment available, if only for antibiotics? What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

2nd question of the day.
Eldest child and BF have their 5 year anniversary in September  - yes its staggering
they always have a trip away in September but this year they are keeping is small as they have a big trip in October.
So they are thinking of the Suffolk coast for a weekend - only about 90 mins from where they live
has anyone any suggests of places and things to do.
They are both high flying 20 something's, don't do cheap but the budget is very tight so suggestions for free and cheap things to do would be useful.
Eldest child goes on the train to Norwich for work so she knows the office and pubs in Norwich but that is our sum total of this part of the world“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
