I forgot you are not far from me Red Rose.
My kids used to love Dover Castle. The original escape route tunnels were always the favourite. I also spent a lovely august bank holiday there with Dad. We watched a display by the Gurkas which really made the hills worth it for him. Hope you saw the Queens Pocket Pistol.
My Mum has a Heritage card and when working nearby used to spend summer lunch hours having her sandwiches up on the hill in the Castle Grounds. Of Course if you approach from Canterbury you get the Kevin and Perry view and also Doubled for a castle up north in Bravehart.

I am safely home. Lovely early morning as dgd woke up and gave me a big smile, went to the little girls room on her own and dressed herself. I also got mistaken for her mum 2 days running at nursery. Not bad for an old bird:T

Didn't stop at lakeside, tbh I forgot until I was on bridge:rotfl:

I am pleased to say my hot water is working again :j:j Taken since 15th June to get it fixed. Ok had immersion but I keep forgetting to turn that off.

NSD today but I did get 4 parcels delivered I have yet to open.

Little t I hope the plastering went ok. You seem to be getting a prompt service:j:j

You seem to be enjoying yourself with DGD :T

Plastering went well thanks. The plasterers arrived just before 8am and stayed til just before 5pm :T:T

Only thing is floor messy in kitchen so Poppy banned and she can't understand why :)

I have just cleaned cushion flooring between kitchen , living room , stairs and behind front door it was manky lol with me going into kitchen after plasterers went. Not going into kitchen til tomorrow now ;) Fitters tomorrow and Thursday then not sure til told otherwise day off for kitchen Friday . Hope flooring will be better for walking on.

Thanks AJ. Yay I found the still sealed in it's wrapper spacer in the bottom of DD2's wardrobe. :D

Love it Izzy, varied stock. :o It's dated Feb 2010 on the prescription label so I am sure it is still ok. :) Anyone remember that orange ear thing I found now that was ancient.

If everyone else had their way spacer would have been chucked out ages ago, saved myself another £8 prescription charge I guess unless you can buy them cheaper over the counter.

I hope I am sorted before holiday too Izzy I have waited so long and been getting really excited. :j

How are you feeling now hun. :A

Worth checking the price of the inhaler with the chemist. After ds1 had glandular fever he needed an inhaler for a couple of years. Was always forgetting it and I used to buy them over the counter and I remember them being cheaper than the prescription charge. Worth checking out.

Izzy I hope you are resting and gentle hugs from me too.

Little t watch out for pm I need some help please:)
