Thank you mr mac and tiny, I am a bit bruised but all will be fine, I am a bit apprehensive about using sharp needles now as I have a plastic vein now so will just have to get on with it :D

Oh goodness sounds like you have been through a lot. Take care of yourself x

And there is me worrying about using an inhaler the right way. :o

I joined English heritage with tosca cc points last week, only £30 for the family.
Just made a picnic and off to Dover Castle. I'm quite excited for the under ground tunnels.

Went there on school trips, they were fantastic :D

Afternoon all - we still have grey skies and a howling gale :(

I've been very productive - emptied out one wardrobe, filled a green bag and a half with charity bag stuff - (I usually take things in myself but I think I am going to have to get a home collection now I nearly up to 4 green bags full)

I then rounded up all of the dresses hanging on doors and hanging rails and wardrobes around the house - some I just folded into an under the bed box but the rest are now neatly hung up in style order. Cardigans and thin jumpers on the rail above.
Sadly I don't think I actually would fit into most of them any more but they still look so pretty and summery lined up :)

Wardrobe number 2 to tackle now - back is killing so I am not sure if I should start now, burn through the pain :)
One problem is that I don't know what time OH is due home, don't want to be in mid flow and not be able to finish it.
2nd problem is that it's the wardrobe where I've hoarded loads of odds and sods which I am going to have to empty out first and I don't want OH asking what everything is or why I have it or what I intend doing with it :)

This 2nd wardrobe is for the maxi dresses and long dresses, most of which are on the en suite bathroom door at present - the door itself has not seen the light of day for years

Worried now that I will get the bathroom door cleared but then as most of these dresses are very long I won't be able to get anything back underneath on the wardrobe floor!

I think I am going to chance a trip out to As, not sure if psychological but definitely feel I can breathe a bit deeper at the moment, still a bit of noise as I exhale but nothing like last night.

Really thankful for nature's tumble drier today, wind and sun with loads of washing to do after getting back yesterday and only week before DD2 is off to America to stay with her boyfriend.

Must remind her to do her travel insurance tonight. I added her on my Nationwide account one for Turkey as we are going together but she will have to get something herself.

Travel insurance - I've noticed quite a few charge extra for trips to the US
Is she going for less than 31 days?
On TCB I noticed Debenhams travel insurance - various levels - you get cashback for and a gift card

£30 in !!!!!! deals worth 3 times value?

Very good use of your deals

Its a pity that neither !!!!!! or nectar points don't have a national Trust membership offer

I am forcing myself to get on with stuff rather than wallow in misery - this week is the 1st week I've had the house to myself and despite his many faults :) I am quite missing OH being around.
Eldest son is off on exercise in a few weeks time, again its taken a lot of adjustment, him being back in the UK after being posted abroad for 3 years but again I am going to miss him when he sets off again.
You just have to keep busy and not dwell.

best place to be - my sister had an op last week, general anesethtic and next day they insisted she was put into a chair even though she was still icky and dizzy - it stays in your system for much longer than you would image
