  • Does anyone know if the Pringles Tortillas are in any kind of offer instore? It is unusual for them to be as expensive as £2.48 each and there might be a nice comparison to be had..:)

I've got into an Amazon muddle.

Ordered something yesterday and it said dispatch 4th, delivery expected 6th.

So I ordered it again using the code and thought I've saved £10. Then went to cancel the first order and got an email to say it is in dispatch and it may not be possible to cancel. Grr!

Just had email to say the first order can't be cancelled, so went back into the account and now its saying the second order may not be able to be cancelled as it is being prepared for dispatch.

And my amazon £10 offer is used up.

    Double Grr!

    Good Afternoon :)

Electricians finished at 12-05 claps hands smillie.

But they put all their rubbish on front lawn grr so I am looking at another mess.

Not happy with walls in kitchen around new plug sockets I can pull plaster off with my hands its that loose. Must have a word with plasterers tomorrow before they start ;)

I had a wonky floorboard in my bedroom that creaked when I walked over it and it rattled wardrobe :( . Jumps up and down smillie electrician fixed it :)

As i say take them to the boss (but always keep them !) and have a moan. Keep the identity of the driver under wraps.

At the same time start the appeal.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver was a genuine customer (see attached receipts) and did not see any signs.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

I assume it's parkingeye and they are not bad at cancelling when confronted by decent spends. If a popla code is received give me a shout.

I would just say ignore it. I believe its still illegal to charge you a parking fine on private land that exceeds the parking charge and as there is no charge there is no fine. Do as most people do and ignore the letters.
