Isn't it just so disappointing when you miss seeing yourself on tv :rotfl:

I don't usually miss myself on tv. Was in church as a teenager when they filmed Songs of Praise from there. See good Susie :p

Also at a football match at a similar age.:)

All this talk of CS and decluttering has reminded me of this charity. I came across it the other night and they reuse underwear and bras for African women and children. http://www.smallsforall.org/
    :)

I had a phase of buying very jazzy matching sets - assuming that I would be forever lithe and lovely :D sadly most were never worn, forever in larger thermal undies now :D

once loved glasses are another thing - my local Spec Saver collects them for Vision Aid who refurbish them and send them to Africa etc (not the cases, just the glasses)
There is a website but its not clear which places collect them so it might be a case of ringing places up.

My Dad had several sets of brand new glasses an option had insisted Dad needed but never used and Spec Saver took all of these and I also parted with numerous pairs recently.

    there ya go

    http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/coupons/

    Helloooooo Nutters :D:D:D:D:D
Thanks the comfort one looks good as the 64 wash is on offer for £2.50 .... Me thinks I need to take a trip to t later I can get my finest orchard cake while I'm there too ;)
While you are at it, try the £1 off any frozen BBQ item, some are on 3 for £6, so possible £1 each.
All would work well if you have some conditional spends, especially as the conditionals take total before multis and MOCs :-)

Thank you both so much for this. I spotted the 64 wash one on offer so with the coupon it's a very good deal.

Thanks, too, BH, for the BBQ tip. Will look at that too -- it says one voucher per transaction, but maybe more will work.

Does anyone know if there are any other Comfort MOCs out there please?

Thanks for the charity link, asset. Makes me realise how lucky we all are. I give old bras to Oxfam who also recycle them. They also take misc foreign money if you've any bits which are not worth doing anything with.

My local Spec Saver has a large tub for old glasses and I have given most of my old ones to them over the years.

And I've a used Brother toner cartridge taking up space. Does anyone know where I can send it for recycling please?

cute bear PD....I always think that its the homemade and "created with love" things that people really appreciate more than a bulk standard shop bought ted.

my 2 were both knitted yellow chicks that covered eggs by their great gran as small babies and even now every easter they still come out!

I hope so! My baby box is pretty low at the moment, a lot of pregnant ladies at the moment and another two friends announced they are expecting today. I better get knitting/crocheting :rotfl:

    Those chicks sound adorable :)

I wish you had said you could have all popped over manor if you were this way. ;)

We all went to Swanage again today. Even though girls grown up they still enjoy the quirkiness of an old fashioned seaside town. We didnt stay for fireworks that were on again tonight as too late for Teeny but could hear them and saw couple from campsite. :)

Glad you enjoyed your trip. They are on again this Saturday.

Oh if only I had thought. I am driving home later tonight, though the lads are going over to Swanage again on Saturday night, and they will have the fish and chips ;)
