For your information:
Asda Price Guarantee comparisons are based on prices correct as of date of delivery (online shoppers) or date of purchase (in store customers).
Where a product comparison price is N/A, either, a) the independent agencies that collect the price data have not found an equivalent product at the named competitor, based on the comparison criteria (see Terms & Conditions) ; or b) the product is part of a particular promotion which makes it difficult for a fair comparison to be made (see Terms & Conditions).
Comparisons are limited to a maximum of 10 items per product and 10Kg for items sold by weight.
All prices displayed in red are net of any multibuys savings or discounts. For example items that are £1.47 each which are part of a "2 for £2.50" promotion will be shown at £1.25 each where the customer buys the required quantity. They may therefore be a different price to that shown on your receipt or delivery note.
Any items of George clothing or Home and Leisure items are excluded from this comparison.

Ladies and gents a bit of advice. My DD is getting married in 6 weeks and for her hen do she suggested a day out at Go Ape ( a sort of forest adventure where you swing through the trees then a nice meal and a dance. Her friends have been dragging their heels to the point that her friend from work was going to take over. But last week the 1st friend text me to say she was organising it but it was going to be £160.00 each including a nights accomodation. Well dd called me just now to say she has just heard from the work friend that it is a champagne breakfast at a posh hotel followed by a cocktail making lesson ( dd works in a pub restaurant famed for its cocktails so can learn at work ) which is a bit of a waste as she doesnt drink much due to her meds.
Then the plan is a visit to see a troup of male strippers ( not her idea of fun at all ) and then a stay in a hotel. the hotel is only costing £30.00 each and the rest of the money is for the rest. She is upset because she told them she didnt want a cocktail lesson and its a bit silly when they know she cant drink much.
She has got herself all worked up about and doesnt know what to do. We have a really nice spa near us and she would prefer a spa day, nice meal , dance and stay at hotel. She wants me to say something to them but I am already seen as an interfering mother as it. What can I do or suggest to her??
That's well cheeky! Can't believe the friend has gone against what your DD wants so much.
Sounds like that's what the friend would want for her hen doI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

She just called me again to say she can live with the cocktail thing but the strippers are a no no as she doesnt want to be humiliated. She had a row with this friend at Glastonbury and the girl made a few choice remarks about me that I was not allowed to tackle her about. But now i am afraid she will have to listen to me about this and if she argues i will say and by the way I know what you said about me a few weeks ago. I am talking my daughter for a day at Bath Thermal Spa tommorow but we have agreed just to enjoy ourselves and not discuss weddings, My Mum or my sisters!0 -

She is 34 and had a wonderful boyfriend for 10 years but she cheated on him so many times he walked away. Now she flits between 2 men who both wanted to have a proper relationship but now just mess her around cos she cant make up her mind. She also has a one night stand every time the girls go out for a night out!! Dont think she'll be getting married any time soon. Its a shame cos she is smart, good looking, is a hard worker but still lives at home with her Mum as she cant seem to grow up.0 -

Whatever happened to the days when a hen do was just the bride going out for a nice meal and a bit of a dance with her girl friends.
Hope you have a lovely time at Bath Spa, it's fabulous, especially the open air pool on the roof.0 -

I'm in the process of arranging my besties hen do as well as the postponed one from last week. My opinion for my two is that they should be doing something that they will enjoy but not something they can do any time. If your daughter goes to bath spa anyway, I wouldn't have her hen there. But that's just my opinion
For the bestie, we are doing afternoon tea, a roller disco and a spa day. For the other one, an 80's night. Both things that they would not normally do but will enjoy.
