  • Back from a long stay at hospital for bowel cancer :-(

Would appreciate if anyone can let me know of any current glitches.

Sorry to hear your news northerngeezer, I hope they found it early. And you make a speedy recovery.

My dad has had a few problems, which we thought may have been bowel cancer. But we still haven't got a diagnose yet. He has blood as well as clots through his urine, sometimes with pain, but not always.

Perfect nights sleep last night.....it's a foam memory thing we have....not a mattress topper Dave.....I was confusing myself.......I've had the best nights sleep in ages without it:T

May save it to use only in the Winter

Glad you had a good nights sleep TM :) I used to have a memory foam mattress but couldn't sleep on it at all, although my 3 DS's swear there the comfiest beds ever :rotfl:

I am here but purely lurker tonight.
Eventful day worthy of a mhoc report tomorrow.

    V x

However eventful your day I can probably top it.

We were hoping for a quiet week but it's not been - more of that later if I ever catch up.

Well its only 10.45, OH is waiting for eldest sons train to get in, its late inevitably.
OH had a Dr app this morning, still on sick leave. Eldest son taking him up to the hospital later for yet another blood test, possibly an x ray, now they are ruling our gout.
On the plus side my buzz kit arrived, I thought they were not coming until the end of the month? Anyway at least we have eldest son here tp do a taste test on.
And even better we finally got a letter from youngest son :T He sent a beautiful card and a note - so at least we know he is still alive and well and busy :j

What else - well youngest son dumped most of his stuff in the boys bedroom before he left so I finally cracked this week, could not stand the awful mess anymore and I started to sort it out. I think he has done the minimal ammount of laundry for months and months so all of his stuff I am washing, drying and folding up into the big poly boxes we had when eldest son was away - it really stinks, stale, damp etc.
There is a lot of the boys wardrobe that is communal - eldest son quite regularly comes home at the weekend, takes whatever is clean and dry wether its his or his brothers including underwear!
Leaving what he wants washing if course :(
Youngest son has also developed an addiction to buying the thin lightweight cycling tops, I think I've washed at least a dozen now.

So far I've done 17 loads

It was an attempt at humour.

    A play on words.

    Forget it.:o
