Thanks for posting these every day tweets:T

Unsure if you will know the answer to this tweets but have you any idea of recommended portion sizes for school dinners. Eg how much pasta per serving. I would be very grateful for any information you....or anyone might have. Do you work to recommended daily guidelines or is it a bit more rough and ready?
    Thank you

    You are welcome :)

We work to a menu daily and suppose to follow it which 95% we do the other 5% depends on whats on the menu and if the kids will eat it.

Portion sizes vary at different schools but our school they get quite a lot. Pie/flans is about 3.5 inch square. Pasta depends on the kids some ask for a bit so they get a bit pointless giving them more to chuck in bin. Fish fingers they get 2 homemade meat balls 3 . We also do sandwiches which they can have 1 or 2. Homemade beefburgers also on a bun .
Normal portion is large serving spoon full same with rice curry Bolognese etc. They don't really like veg apart from beans so about a desert spoon full or less if its certain kids. Mash they can have 1 scoop or 2 and new potatoes 1 or 2 .

Nearly forgot we do large jacket potatoes and ask kids if they want a full one or half fillings are beans , cheese or tuna mayo :)

    Hope that helps :)

    Good morning all.

Belated birthday wishes 3dogs and justmaz. I hope you both had happy birthdays.

Snap - have a great holiday. I hope the weather stays kind for you.

Did a Dove shop yesterday - bought 11 items, but mushrooms and freddos did me out of the APG - blasted things didn't show so not enough items to compare, lol. Won't get them again in a hurry.

Thank you to OPs for bringing the glitches over :money:

hi still getting used to the new apg,
i take it we check for missed multis ect off sada.com now not msm?

if so, why is the simple glitch working when it's showing in the multi on .com?

do we use msm at all now? just to check prices at other stores? or do we use the stores own websites for prices as they're more accurate?

    Good morning all....

I managed to have a root round at A yesterday and found a lonely tube of the simple face wash...conflicting prices on the shelf labels,1 said £4.49 and 1 said £3.49 neither indicated in the £5 deal but I gave it a go with the sanex deo and all was good.....still dont think its something that my A stock regularly but will possibly have a look again tonight as it might be nice to get a couple of doves too....
