My DD primary school has a prom:eek:... Yes 11 year olds... Complete with limos in the driveway, tuxedos for the boys, fancy dresses for the girls with all the trimmings...
I've saved a bridesmaids dress I wore specifically for this, it's plain straight cut but I'm sure when the time comes I can add some sparkle or taffeta to it to give it a new lease of life.
Might be worth keeping an eye out in the charity shops, there are some lovely dresses in our local ones from time to time usually in the window. Iron on sparkle is so easy to use and readily available on eBay;)0 -
Morning all
Once again I'm miles behind. Just can't seem to find enough hours in the day at the moment.
I've had a trip down to the South coast. Stayed in Eastbourne at a Travelodge on Sunday night and then went to my Gdad's funeral yesterday along the coast. The drive wasn't too bad, just long.
I'm off to DS1s summer play this afternoon and then he's got to go back for a repeat performance this evening. I'm looking forward to the end of term. Only have to make his school shoes last a little while longer♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Tis true. I just bought 2 packs in M. On the shelf 2 for £5. Scan at £1.98 each and £3.38 discount comes off :j
Shame someone bought ONE pack while I was at the till, leaving just the one pack on the shelf :rotfl::mad::rotfl:
They are usually around £4 a pack :money:
Tried these at 10am shelf said £1.98 but scanned at £4.98 and two for £5 discount came off leaving £5 so cancelled transaction. Might nip out and try a different store if still working for some. The one I went to was a new one, don't know if that makes a difference.0 -

Now I am in a ponder, I was just about to dash out and get some, apart from wine, razors are one of the few glitches I dash out for. Dont know if it is worth the hassle now, as I hate cancelling the transaction once I have started (its a man thing)

If it was an M local then it probably wouldn't but it should in big M's. I noticed that there were two different packs - one with blue razors and ones with pink. It was the blue ones I picked up this morningI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. If you do just make sure it's the blue razors you pick up and not the pink ones
