Can anyone better this plan? We are doing some decorating and some of the things we need are only available from Homebase. So:

Go to Tesco (womble on way in and on way out)
Buy Homebase giftvouchers in multiples of £50 - this will gain bonus club card points and also some of those fuel points they are doing away with soon
Pay with Amex - this will give bonus points for supermarket spend in first year of membership
Go to Homebase and use gift cards to buy decorating stuff - this will give Nectar points. Also use till spits for extra Nectar points relating to specific purchases.

I know I could wait until Homebase have a 15% off sale, but the work really needs to be done now.

    Morning all :)

Then when all of the decorating is done and when your nectar points get to 1000 you can exchange them for a voucher code for 2 main meals at Pizza Express - you can do this online or in your Sainsburys :j
We did this, this morning - 1000 = £5 of nectar points, the voucher code arrives in an email almost straight away and we got 2 mains, would have cost £20.98 :T

Afternoon luvlies, has anyone else downloaded the mPulse pink and black app for Magnum ice-creams? It's telling me I'll get 95p off the price of a single Magnum at my local T express. Does anyone know off hand how much they are in there? I'm just wondering what it's likely to end up costing me ;)

I've proper got the hump now cos I can't find airport parking for less than £90

Because of the time our return flight lands, we effectively have to pay for another days parking. It's an hour at the most

I know someone who never pays for the extra day if the overlap is less than 2 hours and has never had a problem. Depends if you are willing to take the risk, at worst you will be charged extra as you leave.

    Hope you are ok :)

    Thank you lovely ladies :A

Dh still awaiting references for his new job...at the airport so loads of security procedures to get through (rightly so :o) There was a mix up at the beginning, when HR wrote to him to say Occy Health said he was unfit for work despite him being told he had passed the interview, test and medical. We thought it was because he has Ulcerative Colitis so sent an email saying it was unfair if so and would they reconsider. They got back saying there had been a clerical error and he was fine to work for them :T

All being well he starts training on the 27th of this month :j Ds2 has been keeping me busy since his ASD diagnosis too. Lots of appointments and school visits and tring to fit in home educating Dd2. All of that and the odd babysitting duties for the dgchildren, must get glitching though as cash is very tight. I went whoopsying at coop the other day and did quite well, don't normally get in there much but will make special trips in future :)

Told you my scribblings would be all over the place :p

DS went seeing Ed Sheeran at Wembley on Friday .

He's rang me all excited telling me all about it and what he been doing in London.

When he said they had been to Buckingham Palace. I asked him if they saw the Queen ;) He answered yes  saw her in Madam Tussauds :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Takes after his mum :D;)
