I still have a big bottle of Charlemagne my neighbour gave me xmas before last.
Wonder if it would go in a fruit punch type thing, could make it for Mr TS's birthday party not that he would drink it. :rotfl:0 -
Right with that done - I'll move the list much later - haven't got time tonight - I'll go on to post as before.
I've just had a price alert. In fact, I had two price alert emails a couple of weeks ago and didn't even get to coming to here - lol:rotfl: the entirety of all the products they were alerting me on didn't get anywhere near my prices - so it was an entire reject from me. Must have been about forty products in total, all of them on "special offer" and all of them still way too expensive even on their 'offers':rotfl:! Would have been a list of items to avoid.
Anyway, and here now, I have had a 'price alert' for a 2 for £5 offer on this:wall::
Young's Gastro Basa Fillets in Lemon and Herb Tempura Batter (2 per pack - 320g)
£3.48 any 2 for £5.00 £1.09 / 78.1p / 100g
£4.00 any 2 for £5.00
[Strike]£4.00[/Strike]
£3.00
Way way expensive offer - the fact it's on mbuy almost has me automatically saying that it is. I think it's best to start out with the assumption that an mbuy price means it is a price increase compared to before and/or is a very expensive price. If you start by assuming that, then I feel you won't go far wrong. In the unlikely rare event that it happens to be incorrect to assume that (I'm only aware of a single example where the mbuy might be good - the 5 for £1 sweets offer and, even there, I'm in doubt as to whether some of the sweets were 20p individual before), you can simply revise your assumption, based on the facts, and on that occasion, after careful consideration of all the evidence, will be right. As for the individual price on this occasion, £3.48 indeed!:eek: I would never have considered £3.48 to be other than a rip-off price.
I think these are currently £1.99 in Morries:rotfl:. So, as for that msm alert being any good, the answer is no! Says "---" for M!
However, even at £1.99 it's way too dear IMO. I've had the Beer Batter fish, same total weight, going onto half price £1.50 before - not now, but previously - and thought that even £1.50 was too expensive for only 320g:rotfl:. They are - it's quite expensive price by weight. So, £1.99 on the Gastro version of same weight is so more expensive! And they expect me to want to go for £2.50 on 2 for £5?!?:rotfl::rotfl:
Another rejection by me - way too dear!0 -

If you like. Your "twaddle" (your word) should be reposted though.
I can go with two and then one though - first two for Avs M and third will be Tvs M and M so it's no problem left as it is.:)0 -
A DeeDee thread! Yay! Hope it's as lucky for me as the last thread was.0

Honest TM, I do have to rotate my stash.
Bottle of fizz lasts 2/3 nights, bottle of white 3/4. And I don't open a bottle every week that's why it lasts me so long.0 -
Isn't that the only size to have.
Hoping you don't mean a magnum.
I can't remember the last time I bought any Prosecco, down to single figures, only 5 bottles left. I only have one a month so they do last a while.
I have 6 of those cheap champagnes from Ts before xmas, the ones a critic said would be best to lay them down for at least a year so they have not been touched yet. Has anyone else tried theirs yet I know a few of us bought them.
:rotfl: yes, normal size bottles  :A
We only got 2 of the Ts xmas ones.. they didn't last a week :rotfl: :xmassmile#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
