Hi Everyone....I'm looking for someone with a good memory....about a year or so ago someone posted a handbook they had devised for a teenager to refer to when they are home alone for the first time. it had all sorts of useful things that could be needed....eg. Where to turn the water off, where to find spare light bulbs, how to work kitchen devices etc. I have done a search but I can't find it. Thanks in adavance
I did our own household manual which is updated on a regular basis -it covered every possible event or possibity or circumstances - 2 teenage lads in the house - nerve wrecking“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I wasn't particularly until a couple of years ago, when I had the huge good fortune of winning a competition run by Courvoisier which included amongst other fabulous things, a stay at their chateau in Jarnac. We learned a vast amount about the products, toured the vineyards, the barrel making facility, the bottling plant and just about everything else in between. Our room at the chateau was an incredible example of faded splendour and included a flask of cognac on the mantelpiece, topped up whenever we drank any. The highlight was being taken down into the chateau's cellar, affectionately known as Paradise, where we sampled a glass of L'Essence de Courvoisier, guided by the master blender. I've been a little bit in love with it ever since :heart2:0
