Hi All,
I am planning to repaint my exterior window frames and have decided to use Dulux Weathershield system. Problem is, I cannot tell what color it is...
any idea? I dont have a picture at the moment but I found an image that looks exactly the same color as mine.
I want to use the same color if possible. Dont want to paint in another color which will make my house a bit weird compared to others in the same street...
Thanks

BTW: I've checked B&Q, and Monarch Red is the closest I can find. Ruby Starlet is another one, but I cannot find it from any retailers.0

Your closest match is likely to be something like Sadolin MahoganyEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

It certainly does look more like stain than paint.
Can't really help with pros vs cons though0 -
You can do 1 of two things:
Speak with a neighbour to find out if they know of the colour.
Or:
Take a close up photo, print it out and once you are happy that the photo closely matches the colour - take this to a Dulux store and compare it.0 -
If you're doing all the windows, does it have to be the exact match as you've got now, This is the time to change to something you really like.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

But isn't that stain rather than paint?
pros vs cons using stain than paint for window frames that receive full sunlight most of the day?
Thanks
But it isn't paint. I'll say that again: IT IS NOT PAINT. It is a stain. You can still see the grain of the timber. Thetefore it is a product designed to enhance and protect the timber that it's applied to, not totally colour it. If it was paint, it would ge a uniform colour.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -

I agree with you about the window in the photo. However, the OP states that it is not their window, but a photo of one with similar colour, though that shade is very likely to be stain ,anyway.0
