Being Harassed by PDHL

I am on a debt-management plan with PDHL. Over the past few months, I have been increasingly contacted by representatives of the company, wanting to 'reasses' my situation to see if I am better off on an IVA. I have advised them, repeatedly, that this is not what I want to do, as I am perfectly satisfied with the debt management plan. They do not seem to want to listen! I am wondering if it's in their financial interests in any way to get me from a DMP onto an IVA?
They have also introduced all sorts of new rules such as seemingly needing to conduct a full financial review every quarter and not sending out copies of income and expenditure forms! I have requested mine, well, it must be into double figures now!
Many of their staff appear to be operating with limited brain capacity these days and it's driving me insane. I am supposed to have a 'dedicated account manager' but each time someone contacts me it is a different person!

Don't ever pay a company to manage you debts. Just contact Step Change or Payplan and use a non fee paying company? The money they are charging you should be going to pay off your debts.
http://www.stepchange.org should get you started0 -

so may be trying to offload current customers on to a more profitable route, which is usually an IVA due to the exorbitant fees they generate.
go to stepchange and get debt free safer and quicker.Still rolling rolling rolling......<

Thanks for the replies. I should have mentioned that I did speak with Stepchange a while ago, but I didn't really care for them, so that's not an option for me.
As I understand, PDHL recently took on over 20000 new customers, and this is why they have voluntarily applied for the cessation of taking on new customers.0 -
they exist to make the most money they can out of you. fat rip off fees mean that is an IVA so they will try every dodgy and harassing tactic to try to get you down that route.
if you wont go with a free company then you are stuck with them and their tactics.Still rolling rolling rolling......<

I posted because I was looking for some information. I did not plan on being brow-beaten into going down a particular route, just because it has worked for some of you, does not mean the same route is best for me.
if anyone has further information that can be of any help, and not simply 'go to Stepchange or Payplan' then that would be gratefully received. Thank you.0 -
Hello. It doesn't make sense to use a company which charges you a fee, why chuck away money when it could be going towards paying off your debts. Why did you fall out with Stepchange? Everyone uses them, a free charity. Can't understand how you managed to fall out with them.

Sorry but I agree with the others. It surely doesn't make sense. I don't think you were being brow-beaten, people were just giving their advice. Also it seems to me that you're not happy with the company you're with so why not change?£12,432 - debt free February 2018 :j0

This is a money saving site. People are not brow beating you but advising on ways to save money and by changing to a free dmp provider is a way to do it. You will be debt free sooner as well.
PDHL will be making an enormous amount of money out of you and that is all they are in it for, hence them pushing for an IVA and the huge fees they generate.
If you are not too happy with Stepchange or Payplan try Christains against Poverty https://capuk.org/about-us/the-cap-story I know very little about them other than they do fee free dmps and do not push the religion side.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 20140 -
Have a look at this thread about where to get impartial advice about your debts: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4228011
Though it doesn't seem to be what you want to hear, I will still highly recommend Step Change. Their website even has a section where you can anonymously enter all your financial information to get suggestions on how to deal with your debts.
Why pay PDHL a fee for your DMP when excellent organisations are available that will do it for free?Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.
