Recieved a CCJ at my address on a Previous Tenants Name

Hello all,

So I rented my home out briefly sometime ago and keep getting letters for a Tenant that I let the property to from a Debt Collection Agency.

Most of the Letters I have returned as "Unknown" though out of curiosity opened some.

It seems they have run up a debt of approx £4K with a Credit Card called Opus, Opus sold this Debt to Cobot Finance and now Cobot Finance have instructed a Solicitor.

I have received a CCJ now in there name with the Solicitors details. CCJ is from a Northampton County Court.

How should I go about addressing the Court that the Person in question no longer lives here and I do not know where they are?

I rather not be involved as it has nothing to do with me but seen as its my address, I am sure at some point me ignoring these letters will result in a Bailiff or something of the sort?

Please Help :(

I've been looking for threads that might suggest what I should do not being the the debtor but in a position where I now live there?

Send it back, explaining that the person does not live at that address.

Call them quoting the reference number on the letter (random numbers/letters)
report them as gone away, they should then try to trace the person in question.
