Civil Enforcement Ltd- Court Proceedings. England

Hello all...this is my first time here in a long time.
So back in April 2012!!! My Car was parked in a car park and subsequently O received a ticket through the post from Civil Enforcement Ltd. They had captured my car through ANPR cameras which had overstayed the 2 hour period.

I've had numerous letters over the years, threats of baliffs etc but I've decided to ignore them, due to the advice on sites such as MSE and others.
This week I received a letter saying they are going to take legal proceedings and I will be getting a letter from Northampton County Court in the next 7 days. (funnily enough I don't own the car any more and don't live at my parents address).
Along with the Letter is a N1 claim form with no stamp on it, and in the second part is named a Mr M Schwartz as the solicitor. This particular form doesn't look like an original or official document, it has evidently been printed off or copied.
I have a printed letter from the Co Operative (the car park I parked in) describing that Civil Enforcement Ltd have authority to manage the car parks, signed by Chris Jones (solicitor) then a print out of the Barry Beavis case that went to court, which they say they will be using as evidence to support my case.
Shall I wait for the letter from the court.
What would happen if I ignore this? I obviously don't want a CCJ against me.

if 6 years has elapsed , its statute barred from MCOL, so you are close, if not past it

edit your post above and remove what anyone "did"

we dont need to know what the driver may or may not have done, or you

Don't panic about this, these claims are relatively easy to defend, and CEL pretty much never turn up to court. You may even get some costs out of this.

also read what I and others told that member too , plus all the members in those other links as well

if it was april 2012 , its pre POFA2012 so they can only pursue the driver, but nobody will tell them who that is , lol , so dont !

they have until april 2018 to pursue this driver

As regards CEL, do nothing unless you do get real court papers from the court. Which is very unlikely: if they were going to go to the expense of filing a real claim they'd have done so, they are simply trying to put the frighteners on you and save themselves money.

I strongly recommend that you report M. Schwartz to the Solicitors Regulation Authority for putting his name to fake court papers in an attempt to mislead and intimidate an unrepresented member of the public.
