Getting in touch with holiday friends?

Hi, just wondered if anyone had any ideas of getting in touch with friends we met on holiday as i have lost their email address they gave me and i didnt give them mine as i said i would email within a few days. Now all we know is that they stayed at our hotel, flew to Italy (Verona) from Donny airport on our plane,we know their seat numbers but only there first names, and that they live in Doncaster too. Do you think if i email or write to Thomsons/Crystal and explain and give them my name and address do you think they would pass it on, i understand they wont give me our new friends address but they may pass on ours?

Any ideas?

Kind Regards

Dave

networking site like facebook, search their names
i'd very much doubt they'd give out their details, they are restricted by the data protection act

Crystal definitely won't give you contact details and rightly so. Imagine the problems if it was someone you didn't want to stay in touch with ! :)
Hope you find the email address

you could ask them to pass on your email address, if you don't ask you don't get.

Or ask them to pass on a phone number?

I've used this site before and was very impressed with the cost and the quickness of information.

I did a bit of searching on different electoralroll sites, to compare prices and see how the websites looked and felt, and got a 'gut feeling' to use this one. I am glad I did.

We met some good friends a few years back, oddly whilst on a Crystal ski holiday,we didn't exchange addresses or numbers, just said goodbye at the airport.A few weeks later we had a letter from Crystal containing a letter from our friends, they wanted to keep in touch but didn't know how to get hold of us,Crystal kindly passed on their letter for them.
If you want to contact these people, just write to Crystal with a letter for the people, they will pass it on.
    Good luck

I agree, this is your best bet.

I used to work for a Tour Operator and would frequently be asked for addresses of other clients. However, we could never give this information out (Data Protection act prevented us doing do) but we would always agree to pass on a letter or contact info from the people searching, either to the clients directly or to their Travel Agent if they'd booked through one. It probably wouldn't be a priority for them to deal with but they should do it for you. Good luck with your search.

found this www.tracesmart.co.uk its a pay site but if you know the first and second names and area you can do a free search it wont give the address until you click thte name and another box opens them click the land registery link and that will give the address. You will have more luck if its an uncommon name
