Sanctioned for missed appointment in February 😡

I am very upset and very angry with the way job centre are dealing with my claim, I recently moved in with my mum and was recieving universal credit, but I got told I'm on a sanction for 89 days due to missing a appointment in February! I have made that many phone calls and been in myself but keep getting told different things, they expect me to live on £5.77 every month which is impossible and I was told to make a claim for hardship which I have done, then I received a call back from them saying I've been refused hardship but can't give me a reason to why I have, I don't know what else to do, I'm 24 and they know my mum can't support me, I've done everything even more since I went back to my mums by going on courses and even got a job which starts in 2 months because they have to do Dbs checks, I'm at the end of it now and don't know what to do, has anyone got any advice x

Why did you miss the appointment in Febuary?
In principle, you can appeal this sanction if you have good reason.0 -
And of course your mum will support you, its what us mums do.
She wont sit there eating a meal and watch you go hungry.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Hardship payments are usually made only to cover essential costs. since you are living at home with your mum then the only essential cost will be food/toiletries.
If you mum really can't support you for a couple of months then this link may point you in the right direction.

Other ideas:
Sell something.
Ring creditors (mobile phone etc) explain the situation and ask for time to pay
Borrow from other family/friends0 -
If your costs are food and toiletries, then ask the job centre for a foodbank voucher - that will help for a few days xAug Comp Wins - :j

Starting to OS again and get life into some kind of order! :T0 -
Get some advice from the cab and see if you can appeal the sanction0

Where is the £5.77 a month coming from?
Why weren't you sanctioned in February, why have they waited so long?
Appeal the sanction!
I'm afraid if the sanction stands any money they give n hardship will be just a loan which you have to pay back.0 -
